want to know more about me?
Where to
start? Hmm...Let's see, well I guess to start ...I'm a
Sagittarius with brown hair and blue eyes. I enjoy long walks on the
beach, reading a good book, and watching bad “Reality T.V”. . . . but,
all kidding aside:
Now 30,
I have been DJing, and hosting private and public parties for 10 years,
and I enjoy it as much today as I did when I first started. Although I
was born, raised, and still live in the Markham area, I will travel wherever an
event is being held. I have performed at parties in Ottawa, Kingston,
Peterborough, Parry Sound, all over cottage country, Prince Edward
Island, in the Caribbean and even (years ago) at a private party in
Kentucky. As I work for myself, I take great pride in offering both a
very personal and professional service, to all of my clients.
These days, the majority of my business is weddings and corporate events,
however I have in the past, DJed on cruise ships, at Bar/Bat Mitzvahs,
Backyard Parties, Fashion shows, Fundraisers, In-Home events (such as
Housewarmings, and milestone birthday parties), Company BBQ's,
(Elementary and High) School dances, on Toronto harbour
cruises, and (continuously and single-handed) performed 24-Hour
Dance-A-Thons. Each year I also donate some of my time and professional
services to a number of charitable events.
For the past 4 years I have worked full-time as a professional Mobile
Entertainer (better known as a DJ). This means that I have both the time
and knowledge to dedicate to all the important details of each and every
event. Also, although I occasionally work with assistants, I don't employ
any other DJs, so you can be sure that when you hire me, I am actually the
person who shows up at your event to perform. Because I work for myself
and chose my clients as carefully as I hope they chose me, I can ensure a
quality performance at each and every event. Your choice of DJ should be
made on the basis of knowledge, skill, talent, and of course, your
comfort in the professional competence of the person who will be
performing at your special occasion.
A Short
DJ Bio:
Mark has been DJing just over 10 years, and has accumulated a
tremendous amount of experience in that time. Not only has Mark DJed more
than the average DJ, (having done two 6 months tours on cruise ships), he
has also experienced a wide range of different parties types, styles, and
sizes (20 – 20,000 (while working with some of the other, best DJs in North America)). No matter what kind of event you
are planning, Mark has probably hosted an event similar to it.
And...Should your event be exceptionally unique Mark has the background
and enthusiasm to be up for any challenges it may present. Over and above
playing great music, Mark has specialized in honing his skills as an
"Interactive DJ", taking parties from just "good" to
the much more important level of ”Memorable!".
